Riads in the Marrakech medina

The medina, the walled old town, is the historic heart of Marrakech and where most riads are found. Behind discreet doors lie houses built around a patio, often with a fountain, orange trees and a terrace.

Staying here means you can do everything on foot: Jemaa el-Fna square, the souks, the palaces and the museums. Each neighbourhood has its own character: livelier around the souks, quieter in the Kasbah or in the north.
