Riads in Bab Doukkala, the authentic medina

Bab Doukkala takes its name from the great western gate of the medina. Life here follows the rhythm of its market, mosque and bakeries, away from the bustle of the tourist souks. Dar el Bacha palace, with its museum and famous café, is very close.

People stay here for the authentic atmosphere and easy access: taxis come through the gate, Gueliz and the new town are a few minutes away, and Jemaa el-Fna square is about twenty minutes on foot.
